About Us
New Shanghai CITS, founded in 1987, is the exclusively invested enterprise of the China International Travel Service (abbreviated to CITS) Head Office. CITS was founded in 1954. It is China's largest and most influential tourist enterprise group, honorably placed as the only tourist enterprise on the list of the country's top 500 enterprises by the State Statistical Bureau. CITS has set up 14 subsidiary companies in more than 10 countries and regions overseas, and owns 20-odd stock holding subsidiaries and 122 CITS board member agencies nationwide with total assets of 5 billion yuan. It has become the No.1 name in China's tourism industry, valued at 10.364 billion yuan. The goal of New Shanghai CITS is to cultivate the center of reception and sales of the CITS Head Office in Shanghai as far as possible in East China.
